Creative project topic:
Design a program to assess and improve physical fitness and nutrition for residents in an assisted living facility. Assume all are able to walk (with or without assistive devices). This should include a step-by-step plan that could be given to the director of the facility for implementation with the goal of improving balance, strength and endurance in residents and helping them to remain independent and capable of self-care and activities of daily living. Students should identify a facility in their area and use as much of their data (i.e. number of residents, mean age, facilities, budget, etc.) as possible. The physical fitness and nutrition plans should be written in detail for each day for a minimum of one week. Taking into account diseases, mental health and sleep issues, malnutrition, and any other issues that may arise for the elderly is that living condonation.
Each of the following sections should be labeled and included:
Abstract – includes the purpose of the project, key research and description of key components of solution and conclusion. The body of the abstract is limited to 150- 200 words.
Introduction – identification of specific creative project and sets the general context for it.
Provide a clear and lucid description of the creative project, including the goal and intent of the project.

Literature review – The literature review focuses on how the creative project experience fits into the discipline. Specifically, it introduces the project and places it in a larger context that includes a discussion of how this experience helps the student meet the program objectives. It provides the current state of accumulated knowledge as it relates to the project.
Describe how completing this project is consistent with the course of study.
Articulate the objectives the student hopes to achieve through the completion of this project.
Provide a short conclusion and transition to the next section.
The Project: This section is where the student includes his/her project and unique ideas for the project “solution”, which must comport with discipline standards.
