” Dat – Your essay is a mixed bag. I think you have some interesting ideas, and you use the right vocabulary but in a way that makes me wonder if you understand the specifics of what you have written. Your first sentence does not make sense. The next one goes straight to vertebral column, which evolved hundreds of millions of years before humans. What does “post cranial human skeleton” mean?”
Final Project: Write a proposal to go somewhere in the Universe in search of life! Propose a destination (can be in our Solar System or beyond), why that destination is promising, and how you propose to get there. Include brief information about how you will look for life and get that information back to Earth. Connect how you will look for life on that destination with the information we have about why that place may support life. You may also want to discuss how you think people on Earth might react to your findings.
Good references include NASA and SETI.
Extra credit: give a 3-6 minute presentation of your proposal in class. No slides or visuals required. You can speak from notes and share your ideas with the class.
